ANNOUNCEMENTS December 5, 2021
This week’s prayer focus is for thankfulness as we walk in the Lord’s paths and in his name, forever and ever.
Please join us for lunch today after second service. The English fellowship will be serving lunch today.
We are thankful that the 2022 General and Missions budget as well as an extension to Pastor Young’s initial call were passed last week during the congregational meeting.
James and Michelle Sharman and family are moving to Florida in early January. We will be having a farewell lunch on Sunday, December 19th after second service at RCCC. The entire church is invited to join in wishing them well as they move to Florida.
The English fellowship will have a monthly gathering on December 11th for a time of fellowship and dinner. There will be a cookie exchange along with white elephant gift exchange. Please contact Pastor Young or any of the English deacons for more information.
Praise the Lord for the baptism of our 3 sisters, Shuzhen Li, Fang He and Sophie Li last week! May we continue to lift them up and encourage them in their walks with the Lord.
As we look to partner with World Relief in reaching out and serving refugees in the Rochester area, join us for an info session today at 1 PM in room 307 to learn more about volunteering opportunities with World Relief.
Through the study in Perspectives, God has opened the eyes of many to see His global purpose for all Christians. A new “Perspectives On the World Christian Movement” class is starting in Spring 2022 (Every Monday evening 6:30-9:30 PM, from Jan17 – May2). Please visit perspectives.org for more information or talk with sister Ada Chow.
